About Bible Alive Teaching Ministry

BATM was founded in Cape Town, South Africa, 2002. It was established, as the name might suggest, to be a place of Bible

teaching and discipleship.

As part of the vision, the ministry offered support for those formerly studying theology in preparation for ministry and, to that end, provided a reference library and computer workstations.

Over the years the ministry morphed into a local church but maintained its teaching and discipleship focus.

When Adrian and Lyn responded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to relocate to the United Kingdom in 2014, the ministry passed to the leadership of others who eventually elected to merge with a larger church ministry.

In 2023 Adrian and Lyn were approached by a Spirit-filled family based in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, to ‘resurrect’ BATM as an online entity producing teaching videos and the like. The first of these videos was released in January 2024. This website is now the next stage in the resurrection process. The family concerned now serve as the production and editing team for the videos and are now working on the release of written materials that can be readily downloaded by anyone who is interested in furthering their understand of the Word of God and the deepening of their relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
